seahorse
I haven't participated in Illustration Friday in a while, but I liked the theme suggested for this week. "Under the Sea". I knew I wanted to draw either a seahorse or a starfish. The seahorse won out in the end because they are just such fascinating creatures.

This is a beautiful fine art piece. The layers creates wonderful textures. I especially like how you treated the red foliage at the bottom. It makes for an intriguing journal cover. Very nice work.
